Key Account Sales Manager – Activated Carbon Products and Services
Salary up to £60k (Depending on experience) + bonus, car or car allowance + benefits
Location: United Kingdom, Home based
A Key Account Sales Manager is required at Carbon Activated Europe, a proud member of the Carbon Activated Group of companies, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of activated carbon products and services to a wide and diverse range of customers and industries.
Due to continued growth in our European operations (Bristol UK, Dortmund Germany, and Gdansk Poland), we are expanding our European sales team by recruiting additional sales staff in the United Kingdom. You will have three to five years of activated carbon sales management experience in key areas such as Air Filtration, Biogas, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Remediation, Water Purification, and Wastewater Filtration. As a Key Account Sales Manager responsible for major account development across the UK and Europe, you will work closely with the EMEA regional sales teams and distribution networks. To succeed, you should have significant sales and marketing experience in activated Carbon products and services, demonstrating success in growing accounts through personal drive, technical expertise, collaboration, and partnerships.
To be considered for this position you must have/or be:
* Currently working as a Key Account Sales Manager or Account Manager and seeking a wider, commercially oriented role.
* Experience in sectors like Air Filtration, Biogas, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Remediation, Water, Wastewater, and related purification and filtration products.
* Experience working with UK and European teams to manage and grow existing accounts, develop new client accounts, and work with channel partners, agents, and distributors.
* Willing and able to travel throughout Europe for customer visits, trade shows, conferences, and training (25-50% travel).
* A degree in Chemistry or a related Science discipline, supported by relevant industry experience and possibly further business qualifications.
* Strong people management skills, capable of coaching and developing external teams to achieve sales targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
* A self-starter, dynamic, driven, entrepreneurial, data-driven, with good IT, organizational, and planning skills, able to multi-task and challenge at all organizational levels.
* Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation—and the ability to motivate, influence, and take ownership of tasks.
