Senior Accountant – Greenford | Full-Time | £60,000–£75,000
We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a busy finance team in Greenford. This full-time, onsite role is perfect for a qualified accountant with extensive financial accounting experience who can take ownership of month-end reporting, management accounts, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Finalise trial balances, review expenses, and reconcile discrepancies
Prepare monthly variance and management reports
Support statutory reporting, including VAT, EC Sales, Intrastat, and ONS returns
Assist with audits and finance projects (software implementations, HMRC updates, new offices)
Cash management, credit monitoring, and other Finance Director support tasks
Mentor junior accountants and maintain best-practice processes
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
7+ years' senior financial accounting experience
Experience in multi-currency environments, standard costing, and foreign branch accounting
Strong UK and EU VAT knowledge
Familiarity with SAP or large ERP systems advantageous
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
