Robert Half is supporting a leading provider of healthcare services, supporting both public and private sector organisations across the UK. As part of a growing and forward-thinking organisation, you'll be joining a team dedicated to delivering excellence and efficiency in everything it does.

The business is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to support the growing finance function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, has a strong eye for accuracy, and takes pride in keeping financial processes running smoothly.

Working closely with the accountant and Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the following:



What You'll Do

1. Prepare customer sales invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.

2. Process supplier invoices from receipt through to posting, including handling pre-payments where required.

3. Manage travel expenses and staff reimbursement claims, ensuring compliance with internal policies.

4. Oversee the daily management of the centralised finance mailbox, ensuring all correspondence is appropriately filed and processed promptly.

5. Collaborate closely with finance team members to provide general administrative and accounting support.

6. Contribute to the smooth running of office operations and take on ad hoc finance-related tasks as needed.

This role will suit someone who is looking for a nice role within a feel good company where you will work a small and friendly team. This role will not suit anyone looking to study, this is a finance administrative role and will suit someone looking for a good work/life balance.

YOU:

7. Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting support role

8. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

9. Organised, dependable with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
10. Positive, pro-active team player with excellent communication skills
11. Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central advantageous.

12. Strong IT skills including Excel, Microsoft Office.

This role is offering hybrid working with the requirement of being in the office in Manchester city centre.

Only candidates who live in the Northwest and are able to demonstrate a stable and reliable work history will be considered for this role.
