Overview
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to provide appropriate advice in relation to all construction activities throughout Pembrokeshire. The role requires expert knowledge of construction related projects, complex negotiations and procurement experience for both contractor and consultant appointments. The successful candidate will support the work of the Professional Construction Services Manager in delivering construction activities efficiently and will contribute to the long‑term direction of the department in respect of resource allocation.
Responsibilities
* Provide appropriate advice on all construction activities throughout Pembrokeshire.
* Support the Professional Construction Services Manager in strategic, effective, and efficient delivery of construction projects.
* Contribute to long‑term direction of the department regarding resource allocation.
* Negotiate and procure construction projects with both contractors and consultants.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Construction Manager with proven delivery of construction projects.
* Expert knowledge of construction project delivery, complex negotiations and procurement.
* Strong communicative and people‑skills, self‑driven, and outstanding work ethics.
