About the Role:
As a Receptionist at a PDSA Pet Hospital, you’ll be the first friendly face our clients meet. You’ll deliver excellent customer service communicating clearly, courteously and with empathy while helping clients access the care their pets need.
Working on a busy front desk, you will welcome and register clients, handle inbound calls, manage appointments and admissions, and keep accurate records in line with PDSA policies. You’ll also discuss eligibility and invite voluntary contributions with sensitivity, supporting the funding of our vital services.
Working Pattern: 5 over 3 days (rolling rota)
About you:
* You’ll have strong, compassionate communication skills.
* Organised and have attention to detail.
* Resilient, good judgement and the ability to stay calm in sensitive situations.
* Confidence using IT systems.
It’s a bonus (not essential) if you have:
* Customer-facing or reception experience.
* Experience with bookings/CRM systems, call handling or payment processing.
* An understanding of confidentiality and data protection in a clinical environment.
