Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assisting fee earners on files and supporting our qualified individuals on a diverse caseload for insurers pre‑litigated and litigated claims, from inception to resolution.
Duties will include conducting thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses. A key part of the role will also involve conducting research to support legal strategies and case development.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
* Previous Paralegal experience of 6+ months is ESSENTIAL for this role.
* Scottish qualified legal professional with previous Scotland law experience is ESSENTIAL for this role.
o We are unable to consider candidate with UK & Wales experience only for this role.
* Experience in the following areas will be considered - Fraud, Motor, Road Traffic Accidents (RTA), Personal Injury, Serious Injury, Large Loss, Complex Loss, Catastrophic Loss, Employer’s Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), Occupiers Liability (OL), Credit Fraud, Recoveries, Abuse, Disease, etc.
* Experience in litigation would be an advantage.
* Strong communication skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Experience of working in a fast paced environment with a volume of claims.
