We are seeking a Band 6 Wound care Nurse to join the TVN team, you will be responsible for delivering safe, research based, holistic care to people with chronic or complex wounds, in clinic or the place they call home.
You will be coordinating and managing the clinics, specifically aimed at people with chronic wounds and leg ulcers, delivering training to staff within the Trust, care home and social care colleagues, liaising with hospital specialist staff to ensure safe and timely referral. Working alongside the wider MDT as a member of the TVN team. You will have experience of managing a caseload and be able to deputise for the Band 7 TVN.

You will have wound care experience and be a qualified nurse with a minimum of three years post qualification experience. Community experience is desired but not essential.

1. Registered general nurse
2. Evidence of significant post-registration nursing experience
3. Demonstrate evidence-based practice and up-to-date clinical skills
4. Ability to manage caseload
5. Relevant teaching/mentoring qualification and evidence of teaching skills
Desirable criteria
6. Experience of clinical leadership
7. Post-registration qualification in relevant clinical field
