White Label Recruitment are currently working with a leading valves business with a fantastic name in the industry. Due to continued growth and success, they are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to oversee regional sales across the Midlands while leading and developing the external sales team. This role combines hands-on account management, sales leadership, and strategic business development. Key Responsibilities Midlands Regional Sales * Manage a portfolio of approximately 5–6 priority accounts across the region, with the flexibility to adjust based on opportunities and project activity. * Analyse and identify trends in regional turnover across the last five years to steer commercial strategy and growth. * Strengthen relationships with existing key accounts, many of which currently have minimal representation. * Develop new business within the region, leveraging existing industry contacts and creating fresh opportunities. Sales Team Leadership & Management * Oversee and support the external sales team, ensuring targets are realistic, ambitious, and actively monitored. * Drive improvements in quote conversion rates across all territories. * Collaborate with Operations and Project Coordination teams to develop clear and insightful sales dashboards. * Attend regular sales meetings prepared with performance updates, insights, and forward-looking plans. Candidate Profile * Strong background in sales within the valve industry. * Strong technical understanding of valves is essential to this role * Experience with control valves is beneficial but not essential. * Proven capability in sales leadership, performance management, and improving sales processes. * Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable introducing new ideas and leadership approaches. * Ideally based in or near the Midlands region.
