The Opportunity:
Kenton Black Finance are currently recruiting for a full-time and permanent Credit Controller on behalf of a business that is based in the Preston area. This company has a turnover of circa 13 million pounds, and has been operating for over 60 years. The successful candidate must have a real passion for credit control as they will have full responsibility for the Sales Ledger. Please note, this job is office based.
Salary and Benefits:
•A salary up to £27,500
•Annual leave - 22 days + bank holidays

Your New Role as the Credit Controller:
•Chasing overdue accounts and any aged debt
•Complex query resolution to ensure prompt payment of invoices
•Allocation of payments to customer accounts
•Raising sales invoices and credit notes where necessary
•Producing ad hoc reports for managers regarding customer accounts
•Credit checking and setting up new customer accounts
•Processing all customer invoices
•Working to tight deadlines
•Building rapport with customers to ensure prompt payment
•Sage and Excel will be used daily
Experience and Skills Required to Apply:
- A minimum of 2 years of credit control experience (essential)
- The successful candidate will be a strong and confident communicator, have excellent attention to detail, be assertive when necessary but in a professional manner (essential)
