Job Description
We're working with a number of inclusive schools across Sunderland that are looking to recruit Learning Support Assistants for the upcoming academic year.
These schools pride themselves on creating supportive environments where every child feels valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.
What you'll be doing
• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups • Assisting teachers with classroom activities • Supporting learning, engagement and participation • Encouraging positive behaviour and social development • Working collaboratively with teaching staff • Monitoring pupil progress and wellbeing
What we're looking for
• Experience working with children or young people • A caring and supportive nature • Strong communication skills • A willingness to learn and adapt • Willingness to travel across Sunderland and surrounding areas • Driving is beneficial but not essential • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
