Role Overview:
Our Duxford site is part of Huntsman’s Advanced Materials division, focused on delivering high-performance solutions for global industries. We are hiring aProduction Chemistto strengthen our production team and drive continuous improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency.
We are looking for someone who istechnically skilled, proactive, and passionate about process optimization. This is a key role supporting day-to-day operations and long-term improvement initiatives.

Role Responsibilities:
As aProduction Chemist, you willbe responsible for:
1. Acting as a technical expert for production operations and KPI delivery.
2. Supporting and leading continuous improvement projects using LEAN tools (VSM, SMED, Kaizen).
3. Reviewing and updating process instructions, SOPs, and work instructions.
4. Leading investigations into safety and qualityissues;ensuring CAPA implementation.
5. Driving cost-saving programs and delivering technical training for operators.
6. Managing production data, analyzing trends, and reporting KPIs toidentifyimprovement opportunities.
7. Collaborating with Quality and other departments to resolve technical issues.
Experience and Competencies:
What we are looking for:
8. PhD/MSc/BSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
9. Minimum 2–3 years in production or process development (preferably in a multinational industrial environment).
10. Knowledge of organic, polymeric, and epoxy chemistry.
11. Understandingchemical engineering and production processes.
12. Proficiencyin analyticalmethodologyand statistical principles.
13. Knowledge ofSAP, MS Office.
14. Experience with LEAN tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
15. Independent, proactive, and eager to learn.
16. Strong communicationand teamwork skillsare important.
17. Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
18. Project management and stakeholder engagement.
