Your Role as Room Leader
As a Room Leader, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Support the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role.
* Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments for children.
* Maintain accurate records related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Understand and meet the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS.

What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification – Essential
* Over 1 year of experience in Early Years – Essential
* Over 6 months of experience in a senior position – Desirable
* Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating – Desirable
* Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – Essential
* Fluency in written and spoken English – Essential
