About the role
Our Swindon branch is looking for a Customer Service Specialist to join their team! This is a 12-month, part-time opportunity working on Thursdays and Fridays from 5pm and every other Saturday.
The role involves helping people by having conversations with our diverse range of customers, supporting them through our products, and resolving queries. Building relationships and understanding customer needs are important. Being a team player and a role model is essential.
The role also includes finding resolutions, handling sensitive situations, staying updated with policies, supporting customers via phone, and dealing with administrative inquiries.

About you
You should already be in a customer service role with good experience helping others. You should enjoy talking to different people and be accurate and eager to learn, to handle customer inquiries effectively.
Essential skills include:
* Experience interacting directly with customers and providing excellent service
* Strong communication skills and confidence in talking to various people
* Experience handling challenging or complex customer inquiries with care and sensitivity
* Good teamwork skills and supporting others
Desirable experience includes:
* Experience in retail banking
* Coaching or leading team members
