This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives and enhances our market presence.

Main Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
* Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
* Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team across brand, content, digital, product marketing, and partnership marketing.
* Own the marketing budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources across channels.
Demand Generation & Growth
* Drive qualified pipeline through multi-channel campaigns (e.g., paid media, SEO, email, events).
* Collaborate with Sales to align on lead quality, funnel metrics, and conversion strategies.
* Optimise marketing automation and lead nurturing programs.
Brand & Positioning
* Define and evolve the brand identity, messaging, and value proposition.
* Ensure consistent brand presence across all touchpoints, including website, social media, and collateral.
* Lead PR, communications, and thought leadership initiatives.
Product Marketing & Enablement
* Partner with Product to develop go-to-market plans for new features and launches.
* Create compelling content and sales enablement materials to support customer acquisition and retention.
* Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform positioning and pricing.
Analytics & Performance
* Track and report on key marketing KPIs (e.g., CAC, ROI, MQLs, website traffic, campaign performance).
* Use data to inform decisions, test hypotheses, and continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
* Ensure marketing technology stack is optimised for performance and scalability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Partnerships to align on shared goals.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the organisation.
Essential Criteria
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior Marketing role
* Experience in a SaaS Business related environment.
* Minimum 5 years of experience managing digital campaigns
* Proficient on LinkedIn as a lead generation channel
* Excellent analytical skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience managing direct reports or a team.
Desirable Criteria
* MA / MSc Marketing, Digital Technologies, Business Studies, Sports Studies or a similar relevant field or an MBA
* Experience within Marketing in a Tech business
* Experience in the Sports Industry, either as a sports coach, volunteer, administrator or player
* Graphic design and publishing experience, particularly in the social media and Blogging environment
* Experience operating a CRM.
