Plumber: Social Housing Repairs – Manchester
We are recruiting two Plumbers to carry out essential repairs and maintenance across our properties. You will be the on‑site expert using your core plumbing skills.
Offer
* Competitive Salary: GBP33,000 per annum.
* Company Vehicle: Van and fuel card provided (work use only).
* Bonus Earning Potential: Opportunities for paid out of hours (OOH) callouts – 1 in every 8 days.
* Contract: Permanent, Full Time.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out a wide range of property repairs, focusing on plumbing works.
* Upgrade valves, install new radiators, and perform drainage‑related repairs.
* Receive and complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely using a handheld device (full training provided).
* Work in line with best practice to ensure an excellent customer experience.
* Adhere to rigorous Health and Safety protocols.
What You’ll Need To Succeed (Essential)
* Plumbing Qualifications: Level 1 and 2 NVQ / City and Guilds in Plumbing.
* CSCS Card: Must hold a Blue CSCS Card or be actively working towards one.
* Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a social or local authority housing background.
* Knowledge: Working knowledge of district heating and hot water supplies.
* Licence: Must hold a valid full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).
