Project Description
The project near Oxford consists of six phases, delivering a total of approximately 550 homes. The development is currently on Phase 3, with Phase 4 due to commence in June 2026.

Role Specification
Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Preparing scopes of work and trade packages
*
Preparing selected tender lists for approval
*
Managing subcontract tendering processes
*
Recommending subcontractors on a level‑playing‑field basis, ensuring full scope coverage
*
Holding and minuting subcontract post‑tender and pre‑order meetings
*
Preparing subcontract documentation in line with contract procedures
*
Raising subcontractor payment applications
*
Forecasting and agreeing design variations
*
Producing subcontractor instruction and variation reports
*
Agreeing final accounts with subcontractors
*
Assisting with monthly cost reports
*
Attending design team and subcontractor progress meetings
*
Drafting contractual correspondence when required
*
Supporting the Project Manager with financial implications of site decisions

Countersigning site instructions
Experience & Qualifications
*
Experience within a developer or main contractor environment
*
Site‑based experience
*
Relevant educational background in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
