Overview
Activities and Community Engagement Facilitator — Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Bridgemead is a 32-bed residential care home by the river in central Bath. The home cares for those who live with dementia and provides respite care. This role focuses on engaging with residents, local churches, and the wider community to promote activity and social connection.
Responsibilities
* Engage with local churches by sending out regular newsletters and by visiting and presenting to the community and local churches.
* Build relationships with local ministers, pastors, vicars, etc.
* Organise and facilitate special events and outings.
* Lead a team of volunteers.
* Create monthly activities for residents.
* Coordinate and facilitate activities for family members that are stimulating and creative.
* Engage with the wider community by organising community coffee mornings, summer fayres, open days, etc.
* Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Applicants must be evangelical Christians (This role has an Occupational Requirement to be filled by a Christian under the provisions of the Equality Act 2010).
Hours
Full-time contract: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
