The Opportunity
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join this growing professional practice. The successful candidate will play an integral role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring compliance across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate ledgers and financial records
* Process invoices, expenses, and supplier payments
* Reconcile bank accounts and supplier statements
* Prepare VAT returns and assist with payroll processing
* Support management reporting and month-end close
* Liaise with management and external accountants to support business operations
* Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
About You:
* Proven bookkeeping experience within a professional services or consultancy environment
* Proficient in Xero (or similar accounting software)
* Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* AAT qualification (or equivalent experience) advantageous
