Care Assistant Care and Support - Silver Lodge Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.71 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: Full Time and Part Time Silver Lodge Care Home is a purpose built 40 bed care home, providing specialist nursing dementia and complex nursing dementia care across two dedicated 20 bed units. The home offers a safe, structured, and supportive environment, designed to meet the needs of residents requiring high levels of clinical and dementia care, with a strong focus on dignity, wellbeing, and person centred support. Care Assistant Contract £12.71 per hour Flexible contracts available, 11 to 44 hours per week Paid DBS/PVG, pension, uniform provided and onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata) Role Overview As a Care Assistant, you will support individuals with a range of complex needs, including advanced dementia, mental health conditions and other long term health challenges. Your role is to provide safe, consistent and person centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing. Working closely with the wider team, you will follow individual care plans and support structured routines, helping to create a calm, stable and supportive environment. You will build positive relationships with residents, understanding their needs and responding appropriately to changes in behaviour or wellbeing. This is a hands on role that requires patience, resilience and a calm approach, supporting both the physical and emotional needs of residents while ensuring care is delivered safely and consistently at all times.
