They deliver district general services to 2.5m residents of Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and its surrounding communities. Their specialist services allows us to deliver care to 4.5m people from across the East Midlands and nationally for a handful of services.
The appointee will be asked to fulfil various duties within the department, these include; the appointee will be responsible for the management of those patients admitted under their care, provision with Consultant colleagues of a comprehensive elective and emergency MSK service, expected to take an active role in clinical governance activities including (but not restricted to) clinical audit, incident reporting, review of complaints, risk management, CPD and Evidence-Based Practice, be expected to play a significant role in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, provide, along with Consultant colleagues, a comprehensive elective and emergency on-call service related to MSK Radiology & include sessions for reporting time for Plain Film, MRI and CT, performing ultrasound and fluoroscopy/US/CT guided procedures and participation in multidisciplinary meetings.
