The Opportunity: As a Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity, you will play a key role in advising organizations on how to define, manage, and transform their security posture. You will deliver EY’s cybersecurity offerings, support new client pursuits, and collaborate with colleagues across the UK and globally to develop innovative solutions that address client security challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality cybersecurity engagements, ensuring alignment with EY’s standards of technical excellence.
2. Support business development activities, including proposal writing and impactful presentations to potential clients.
3. Collaborate with senior team members on go-to-market strategies across the UK and Europe.
4. Build and maintain strong client relationships, enhancing EY's brand awareness in the cybersecurity space.
5. Assist in managing financial aspects of engagements, including staffing organization and fee tracking.
6. Foster a positive team environment by mentoring and coaching junior staff, conducting performance reviews, and contributing to their professional development.
7. Participate in recruiting, retaining, and training cybersecurity professionals.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:
13. Professional experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions, either in an operational or consulting capacity.
14. High level of drive and commitment to achieving solutions, with the ability to work under pressure and in unstructured environments.
15. Expertise in developing impactful written presentations and engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
16. Specialization in one or more of the following areas:
17. Identity and Access Management
18. Data Privacy and Protection
19. Security Architecture
20. Operational Technology Security
21. Governance, Risk, and Compliance
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
22. Security-related qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISMP, ISO27001 lead implementer or auditor, MBCI, or IAPP.
23. Experience operating within an NCSC Assured Cyber Consultancy.
24. Understanding of the cybersecurity regulatory landscape and assessment frameworks (, NIS2, NIST CSF).
25. Key delivery experience in cybersecurity strategy, transformation, and compliance.
26. Sector experience in Government & Public Sector, Energy & Utilities, Retail and Consumer Products, Life Sciences, Telecoms, Media and Technology, or Transport.
27. Professional services experience with market-leading organizations in delivering cybersecurity solutions.
