We are looking for enthusiastic Residential Support Workers to join our team in Southampton!
Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a stable and nurturing environment for our young residents. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing flexible and individualized care packages for children and young adults.
* Promoting, safeguarding, and protecting the welfare of our young people.
* Establishing and maintaining positive, trusting relationships.
* Encouraging the development of individual interests and skills.
* Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Experience working with children and young people, along with an understanding of the challenges they face.
* Flexibility to work 7 x 24-hour shifts, including sleep-ins, on a rotating schedule.
* A willingness to pursue a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent, with the goal of upgrading to Level 4.
* A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel purposes.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* A commitment to learning and personal development.
* A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (which we will cover).
