 
        
        Domestic Abuse Practitioner (maternity cover)
Position: Domestic Abuse Practitioner (maternity cover) at Black Country Women’s Aid, 12‑month part‑time (22.5 hours per week, days negotiable) based in Dudley.
Salary: £14,586.02 – £17,483.45 (unqualified) pro rata; £24,310.04 – £29,139.08 (qualified) pro rata.

All interviews will be held via Microsoft Teams.
We are seeking someone experienced in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, able to manage a caseload and with a strong understanding of safeguarding principles for children and adults. The Domestic Abuse Practitioner will provide support to victims referred from Children’s services, specifically those on child in need and child protection plans.
Key responsibilities:
 * Support victims of domestic abuse referred from Children’s services.
 * Manage caseload and maintain accurate records.
 * Work within the family safeguarding team to share information and coordinate support.
 * Provide referrals and appropriate interventions to protect children and vulnerable adults.
Qualifications and requirements:
 * Experience of supporting victims/survivors of domestic abuse.
 * Understanding of domestic abuse dynamics and safeguarding children and adults.
 * Female applicant required under Equality Act 2010, Part 1, Schedule 9.
 * Right to work in the UK.
 * DBS check at required level.
