The Role
As an EHS Coordinator you will be the primary contact for employees and managers concerning safety related matters as well as the responsibility for the application of EHS Programmes. Within this role you will conduct regular inspections, identify hazards and potential risks and assist with the elimination or mitigation of those hazards. You will also support on the development and coordination on ergonomic projects that contribute to equipment design changes, business systems modifications and employee work habits. You will also have the opportunity to develop environmental management strategies to manage the potential impact on the environment. Interested?
Previous experience within a similar role within a manufacturing environment
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
NVQ Level 5 H&S Standard or equivalent
Knowledge of Risk Assessment practices, COSHH and the implementation of appropriate control processes
Comprehensive understanding of UK EHS legislative requirements
