Machine Shop Supervisor
The Role
This position is a hands-on leadership role, where you will be managing the daily operations of the machine shop. You will be overseeing the manufacture of high-quality components, ensuring production and efficiency targets are met. You will also be programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines.

Main Responsibilities
• Coordinate production schedules and workflow, delegate tasks to the machine operators, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
• Conduct performance evaluations and address any employee relation issues.
• Have an engineering background, with experience in CNC Setting and Operating, with some knowledge of on-machine programming.
• Proven experience as a CNC Miller.
• Experience on Mazak & Mori Seiki machine preferred.
• Work using you own initiative and demonstrate a passion for efficiency and attention to detail.
• Have a commitment to maintain and improve housekeeping standards.
• To comply with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, policies and objectives. Ensure compliance of policies and procedures.
• Able to read and understand design specifications and technical drawings.
• Good timekeeping skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage your time efficiently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well as a team.

• Time served in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working on CNC Milling machines
• Knowledge of programming
• Management / Supervisory skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
