1. Duty Solicitor accreditation not essential, but candidates must be eager to qualify in the near future. If you’re already in training, they’re happy to transfer and support your accreditation.

The Role:
5. Provide comprehensive legal services to legally aided and private clients
6. Attend police stations both during and outside office hours (overtime fully remunerated)
7. Provide advice and advocacy at Magistrates’ Courts and conduct your own cases, including trials
8. Manage your own caseload with increasing responsibility
Candidate Profile:
9. Qualified solicitor, with either current Duty Solicitor accreditation or a clear intention to obtain it soon
10. Experience representing clients at police stations, Magistrates’ Courts, and Crown Courts
11. Comfortable managing your own caseload and conducting all levels of advocacy
12. All PQE levels considered—what matters is your motivation and ability
