We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Outreach Tutors to join our team in Sutton and the surrounding boroughs. If you are an experienced tutor with a strong understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN), we want to hear from you We offer a competitive rate of £30-£35ph Key SEN Outreach Tutor Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group tuition for students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including but not limited to, Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia Assess, plan and implement bespoke lessons to meet the individual learning needs and abilities of each student Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, adapting teaching methods and materials to ensure student progress Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents, carers, and school staff Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and achievements Build strong, positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and self-esteem Requirements: A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent) Experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues Patience, empathy, and a commitment to making a difference in student's lives A clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one Experience working within a school or tutoring environment - desirable Specific training or qualifications related to SEN, such as TEACCH, Makaton, or Autism Awareness - desirable If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please 'APPLY NOW' and you will be shortlisted and contacted in the next 72 hours if successful
