TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. The Logistics/Distribution Support role in the Inbound area plays a crucial role in handling incoming goods, ensuring accurate inventory and smooth internal operations.
Job Requirements
* Checking received goods against purchase orders and delivery notes.
* Processing deliveries in SAP system.
* Applying appropriate labels to incoming items.
* Keeping records of received goods.
* Dealing with issues associated with goods receipt (Identifying and reporting damaged, missing, or incorrect items).
* Banksman training.
* Communicating with planning.
* 5s+1 – understanding and involvement.
* Using the wave machine.
* Awareness of EH&S Policies, safety standards and COSHH/Risk Assessment.
Qualifications & Required Skills:
* Proficient Computer skills, with a good understanding of Excel and Word.
* SAP knowledge preferred.

* Ability to make decisions, solve problems and work efficiently in a time pressured environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
