We are looking for a compassionate, proactive and creative Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school supporting children with Autism (low to high support), PMLD, and both verbal and non-verbal communication needs. Your role is to keep children safe, enhance their learning, and empower them to express themselves in ways that make sense to them.

Location: Maidenhead
Salary: £101.40 per day
Start Date: 24th November 2025
Contract: Full-time, Monday–Friday (8:30 am – 3:35 pm), Term Time Only
Duration: Long-term temporary with the potential to go permanent

Milk Education is recruiting on behalf of a specialist Autism school in Maidenhead, where you’ll support pupils aged 4–16 with a diverse range of neurodivergent profiles. You will learn and use AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication) approaches including PECS, Makaton, visual communication boards, and sensory engagement.

9. Assist with personal care routines when required
10. Build consistent, trusting relationships that promote progress and wellbeing
Who We’re Looking For:
11. Graduates in Art, Psychology, Humanities, Creative Therapies or related fields
12. Individuals passionate about Occupational Therapy, Art Therapy, SEN support or Neurodiversity
