Position: Payroll, Pensions and Workforce Data Adviser
Location: St Brendans Sixth Form College / 1 day a week hybrid
Salary: £32,199 - £35,395 per annum, pro rata

About The Role
This is an exciting new opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our payroll, pensions, and workforce data runs smoothly and efficiently. Youll provide accurate and timely payroll support, liaise with external partners, and contribute to data reporting that supports strategic decision-making.
This position is offered at three days per week, term time only plus two weeks, offering a great work-life balance and the chance to contribute meaningfully to a growing and dynamic college environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate, timely payroll and pensions processing in partnership with outsourced providers (currently Cintra).
* Maintain accurate workforce data and produce regular analytical reports for senior leaders.
* Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, pension regulations, and audit requirements.
* Actively support identifying and implementing system improvements like the rollout of self-service HR and payroll tools.
* Provide supportive guidance to staff on payroll, pension, and contractual matters like family friendly leave.
About You
* You’ll have proven experience in payroll and pensions administration, excellent attention to detail, and strong IT skills, particularly with Excel and management information systems.
* Experience of working with Cintra or similar payroll systems, and knowledge of the education sector, Local Government and Teachers Pension Schemes, would be advantageous.
* In terms of personal attributes, were looking for a colleague who is friendly, collaborative, and confident being hands-on in an often fast-paced environment. Most of all we are looking for someone who is approachable with a positive attitude and a willingness to step in to help colleagues.
