Ecommerce Distribution Supervisor

As an Ecommerce Distribution Supervisor, you will drive the performance of ecommerce logistics operations within a fast-paced distribution environment. Acting as a key link between warehouse operations, inventory and systems teams, you will ensure seamless order fulfilment and high service delivery across UK.
This role offers strong cross-functional exposure, working closely with UK teams, while contributing to operational excellence, system optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives that support business agility and customer satisfaction As a trusted cross-functional partner, you will support Distribution Centre teams in achieving shared objectives, working collaboratively with colleagues while leading by example to inspire high performance and accountability.
What impact you can create at CHANEL
1. Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch, ensuring all online orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
2. Lead, train, and motivate a team, improving productivity and maintaining high performance standards.
3. Manage staff scheduling, workload allocation, and performance monitoring to meet fluctuating order volumes and tight deadlines.
4. Maintain accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts, stock audits, and discrepancy resolution.
5. Oversee shipping processes, ensuring correct packaging, labelling, and coordination with courier services to meet delivery targets.
6. Utilise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and D365 ERP system to track orders, monitor KPIs, and generate operational reports.
7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting routine checks and promoting a safe working environment.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to optimise workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and increase output.
9. Collaborate with customer service, supply chain, inventory and procurement team to resolve issues and improve overall supply chain performance.
10. Provide support, advice and assistance to F&B / Boutique teams when required.
What you will bring to the role
11. Experience in operational management within ecommerce, logistics, or distribution
12. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory, and fulfilment processes
13. Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, D365, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
15. Excellent communication and stakeholder management across all levels
16. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
