About the role
You will be required to work independently, providing whole class teaching as necessary, covering staff absence/key sessions each week. We are looking for an individual who is able to work collaboratively with the teaching team to access and understand plans, teach and assess the school’s curriculum, so all pupils, including pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, achieve success in line with the school’s vision, ethos and aims.
In addition to the above, when not teaching you will undertake the work of a Learning Support Assistant This will entail working under the instruction and guidance of teaching/senior staff to enable access to learning through relevant work/care/support programmes for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

We are looking for an individual who currently holds an HLTA qualification and has experience working across a range of key stages.
