Our client is a fast-growing firm of Chartered Certified Accountants and is seeking an experienced Practice Accountant to become a key part of their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment and wants to grow with a firm that values professional development.
The Role
Manage a portfolio of clients’ accounts across multiple industries.
Producing and filing management accounts, corporate and personal tax returns
Managing VAT returns and self-assessments
Review the work of junior accountants and support their development
Building strong client relationships and resolving queries efficiently
Adopting and implementing new cloud-based accounting software and digital tools to improve efficiency
Ensure compliance with accounting and tax deadlines
Production of year-end accounts and management reports About You
AAT qualification with at least 3 years’ practice experience, or ACCA/ACA qualified
Proficient in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage etc.)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Experience within payroll is desirable, but not essential
Confident in preparing and reviewing accounts and tax computations
