A client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their fast-growing, multi-strategy investment firm. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, you will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing a global technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 2nd/3rd line support across hardware, software, and infrastructure platforms
* Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, M365/Entra, VMware, Azure, and Linux environments
* Manage OS and software patching
* Improve and automate infrastructure build processes and operational workflows
* Drive standardisation and best practices across the technology estate
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
* Support a fast‑paced, business‑critical environment
Requirements
* 5+ years' experience in Infrastructure Engineering, ideally within financial services
* Strong knowledge of:
* Windows Server & Active Directory
* VMware
* PowerShell and/or Python
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems
* Networking
* Database administration
* AWS
