Position overview
You will be a qualified ATA VDA, preferably Audatex experienced with a solid Bodyshop background. You will also require a full UK driving licence. The role involves inspecting damaged vehicles, assessing damage extent, estimating costs and timeframes, identifying correct repair methods, preparing and maintaining electronic and manual estimates, liaising with insurance companies for approvals, and coordinating with customers, engineers and technicians to explain repair methodology.
Responsibilities include: assessing many different marques of vehicle, staying up to date with repair methodologies, understanding insurers' and manufacturers' literature and bulletins, and working collaboratively with bodyshop colleagues to ensure vehicles are returned to the road safely and promptly.
Key qualifications
* Qualified ATA VDA, preferably Audatex, with Bodyshop experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong communication and liaison skills with insurance companies and technicians
* Knowledge of repair methodologies and industry literature
