About This Opportunity
The Global Information Security Team’s mission is “to protect Crown’s global information systems, data, and employees from cyber-based security threats while ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information used by the Crown business units to produce world-class sustainable packaging solutions for our customers”.

As the Global Security Engineer, you will lead and assist in cybersecurity tool implementation and improvement projects globally. You will collaborate with the Global Security Architect and regional IT and security teams to enhance cybersecurity posture across the enterprise.
Main Responsibilities
1. Lead and assist in the implementation of global cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
2. Oversee and drive cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring timely and complete execution.
3. Coordinate cybersecurity-driven changes across Crown’s global operations.
4. Identify, assess, and implement cybersecurity solutions to improve Crown’s cybersecurity posture worldwide.
5. Optimize existing tools, processes, and technologies.
6. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate information security risks and emerging threats.
7. Stay current with industry best practices and evolving security technologies.
8. Evaluate security frameworks and measures for alignment with best practices.
9. Conduct system analysis and testing to validate cybersecurity tools and processes.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
2. Security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, or similar.
3. Knowledge of or experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, 27002, etc.).
4. Working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK or Lockheed Kill Chain methodology.
5. Understanding of security standards in corporate IT environments.
6. Experience managing large, multi-country projects.
7. Expertise in areas like Data Protection, Network Security, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Identity Security, or Incident Response.
8. Strong technical knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, Endpoint Security, IAM, Vulnerability Management, etc.
9. Good understanding of IT infrastructure, architecture, and applications.
