A live in Permanent Private Chef/Cook who is passionate about healthy eating, is required that is prepared to relocate to Columbia, Missouri and you must be eligible to live and work in the US.
Job Summary: The position is for a busy household in Columbia, Missouri, of five, including teenage children and three small, well-behaved dogs (so you must be child and dog friendly!). The chef will be responsible for planning and preparing healthy, family-friendly meals, managing kitchen inventory, and maintaining a clean and organised cooking environment.
The client would be interested in couple candidates as well (as chef/housekeeper) - If applying as a couple, the additional role would include general housekeeping duties and household support. But both parties should be eligible to live and work in the US and both drive.
The role is full-time and includes the option of private accommodation. The family is relaxed and discreet in nature. They’re not seeking Michelin-starred cuisine, but rather well-presented, wholesome, and healthy family meals. Both parents run highly successful businesses and lead very busy lives, yet remain hands-on and devoted in their parenting. As a result, they are often time-poor. They are a genuinely kind and thoughtful family who take great care of those who work with them. They’re looking for someone who shares their values—someone warm, hard-working, and genuinely passionate about healthy cooking. This is a newly created role, and the family is ready to hire as soon as the right candidate is identified. While the position is available to start immediately, they are committed to taking the necessary time to ensure a strong long-term fit.
The Offer:-
• Full-time employment (5 days/week, occasional weekends and events)

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience in private household or hospitality
• Formal culinary training and certifications are a plus
• A background or interest in wellness, healthy clean eating and family style service
• Fluent English
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and preferences
• Professional demeanour and discretion
• Dog and child friendly
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
