Overview
Our client is a multi-award winning, large independent firm with an established tax team. They deal with a diverse clientele that ranges from dynamic OMB's to large corporate groups. As part of their expansion they seek a Corporate Tax and R&D Senior to work from their Cheltenham or Cardiff office. Day to day your role would include:
Responsibilities
* Using your knowledge and experience to assist clients in making claims for R&D tax relief, as well as Patent Box claims (coaching on Patent Box will be provided if you do not have previous experience in this area).
* Full supervision of a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility of all aspects of tax including compliance and ad hoc project work as it arises.
* Producing the tax disclosures for the financial statements.
* Advising clients on the application of R&D legislation and extracting the costs to be claimed, ensuring that technical compliance is in line with HMRC legislation.
* Reviewing computations and claims and liaising with specialists on technical matters.

Requirements
* To be successful in this role you will be ACA/ACCA/CTA fully qualified with a good level of tax technical knowledge.
