Sales Operations & Systems Coordinator

Harpenden (Hybrid) | Full-time, 40 hours per week

We are now looking for a Sales Operations & Systems Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting our commercial function and driving best practice across our sales processes.


The Role

This is a dynamic and influential position within our Business Support team. You will act as the central point of coordination for inbound sales enquiries, own and optimise our CRM system, and provide the reporting and insight that underpins commercial decision-making.

You'll work closely with Business Development and Sales colleagues across multiple divisions, ensuring governance, consistency and data integrity — while helping the business identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Inbound Enquiries & Client Engagement

* Act as the first point of contact for all central sales enquiries (phone, web and email), delivering prompt, professional and client-focused responses.
* Qualify and triage leads to the appropriate Business Development or Sales team member.
* Manage the main sales inbox, ensuring consistent, timely and high-quality engagement.

CRM Ownership & Data Quality

* Serve as the internal owner and subject matter expert for the CRM system.
* Maintain high standards of data quality across accounts, contacts and opportunities.
* Train and support sales teams on CRM usage, data hygiene and process compliance.
* Standardise and improve workflows, templates and reporting functionality.
* Conduct regular CRM health checks and drive continuous improvement.

Sales Governance & Process Management

* Coordinate and support weekly/bi-weekly commercial governance meetings.
* Promote consistent sales processes across all business units.
* Identify process improvement opportunities and implement practical solutions.

Reporting & Commercial Insight

* Own and deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly sales performance reporting against agreed KPIs.
* Analyse CRM data to identify trends, risks and opportunities across pipeline, conversion and client engagement.
* Provide clear, actionable insights to leadership to inform commercial strategy and resource planning.

General Support

* Deliver exceptional service to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
* Provide broader support within the Business Support function as required.


About You

We're looking for someone who is confident, analytical and proactive — with the credibility to work closely with senior sales stakeholders and the organisation skills to manage multiple priorities.

You will bring:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional telephone manner.
* Strong CRM capability and confidence working with digital systems.
* The ability to influence and hold stakeholders accountable for process adherence.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Analytical thinking and a problem-solving mindset.
* A collaborative approach and the confidence to work independently when required.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and standard office platforms.
* A proactive, entrepreneurial spirit and a client-centric mindset.
