Overview
This role is responsible for Quality Assurance (QA) for all IT development projects within Conexus, with main QA activities in an in-house Salesforce development project as part of a strategic business transformation program. The role involves defining test plans, executing functional, regression, and data migration tests, and using automation tools like Selenium and Provar. The QA Analyst will manage defects, collaborate with developers to resolve issues, ensure solutions meet business requirements through stakeholder interaction and user acceptance testing (UAT), and drive continuous improvement by adopting best practices to enhance product quality and testing efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with project stakeholders to validate acceptance criteria and testing requirements.
* Partner with business analysts and end-users to ensure the solution meets requirements.
* Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing environments and addressing reported issues.
* Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
* Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing; validate data migration processes for accuracy and completeness.
* Develop comprehensive test plans covering API, integration, functional, performance, and regression testing.
* Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to define test data requirements and expected outcomes.
* Design and implement test automation frameworks for Salesforce solutions using Salesforce-compatible tools.
* Leverage automation to execute repetitive test cases; identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or similar.
* Work with developers to debug and resolve issues; implement QA best practices and processes to improve test coverage and quality.
* Provide feedback on processes, configurations, and development practices to enhance product quality.
Experience
* 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, including at least 2 years focused on Salesforce projects.
Technical Skills
* In-depth knowledge of Salesforce testing, including custom objects, Lightning components, and integrations.
* Proficiency with test automation tools like Selenium, Provar, or similar.
* Strong understanding of Salesforce APIs for integration testing.
* Experience with data validation, including pre- and post-migration checks.
* Familiarity with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
* Mock API testing using Postman Mock Server, MuleSoft APIKit, or WireMock.
Soft Skills
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Effective leadership and teamwork abilities.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Certifications
* ISTQB Foundation Level Certification or equivalent.
