To support our next growth phase, we’re seeking an entrepreneurially-minded Principal Hydrogeologist to join our team in Melbourne, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a collaborative team of skilled hydrogeologists, supply invaluable technical guidance, and foster a collaborative environment.
* Provide expert advice on all facets of groundwater management, including abstraction licensing, pollution control, and monitoring.
* Ensure clients are equipped to navigate complex regulatory landscapes while sustainably optimising their water resources.
* Undertake comprehensive hydrogeological assessments, including water resource, impact, and risk assessments.
* Stay abreast of the latest developments in hydrogeology and related fields. Share acquired knowledge, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure our solutions are always at the pinnacle of industry innovation.
* Manage a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgetary constraints, and uncompromising standards of quality.
* Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients. Identify opportunities for business growth and tailor our services to meet evolving client needs.
Qualifications and Experience
* A postgraduate degree in hydrogeology, geology, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 8 years’ experience in hydrogeology, including managing projects and leading teams.
* Chartered status with a relevant professional body (e.g. Geological Society, CIEHM).
* Excellent technical knowledge of hydrogeology, including groundwater resource assessments, impact assessments, and risk assessments.
* Strong project management skills, with experience of managing projects from start to finish.
* Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
* Strong commercial awareness, with experience of identifying and developing business opportunities.
* UK Driving Licence required.

The Package
* Salary of £50,000+, dependent on experience.
* Permanent contract, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
