Overview
Applicants are invited to apply for a Specialty Doctor post in General Medicine based in Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest. Your first 3–6 months will be in a transition to the NHS registrar role predominantly in acute medicine with support in procedural skills and general medicine oncall skills. During this period you will undertake a cardiology clinic a week and front door cardiology assessments. Time dependent on competency you will move to a fulltime specialty doctor in the Cardiology Team role and General Medicine Oncall role (1 in 12 rota).
These posts will join colleagues in a dynamic general medicine service within the Health Board in delivering and supporting the Welsh Government’s vision for NHS Wales. In addition to the established team we are also committed to continue expanding this team with more resident grade doctors.
