Senior HR Advisor
Worcester (Travel to Wolverhampton weekly)
£40,000 - £45,000 (Depending on experience)
Great opportunity on offer for a Senior HR Advisor to join a busy construction manufacturing business in a small, supportive HR team. Working alongside the HR Director, you will support the day-to-day HR needs in a manufacturing environment where health and safety is the top priority.
This is a varied, hands-on role supporting approximately 120 employees. The role will involve both day-to-day HR administration and more complex employee relations work, including sickness absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance, capability and probation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide HR advice and guidance on performance, sickness absence, disciplinary and capability matters
* Support managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries, deliver training and awareness sessions
* Confident advising managers on HR process and risk
* Assist with onboarding and leaver processes
* Maintain accurate HR records and databases
* Flag and report when something isn’t following an HR procedure or process
* Busy construction manufacturing environment
About you:
* Must be CIPD Level 5 Qualified
* Good understanding of UK Employment Law
* Previous HR experience is essential
* Highly organised and detail focused
* Motivated and able to work independently
* Comfortable flagging non-compliance with HR procedures in a respectful and professional manner
* Understands the importance of health & safety in a manufacturing environment
* Experience in manufacturing, construction, engineering or similar would be advantageous
* Be happy to commute to Wolverhampton two days per week
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and who is comfortable moving between practical HR administration and more complex advisory work.
