Role overview
This role supports the end-to-end generation and validation of Marine written, premium, and claims bordereaux. The successful candidate will work closely with the underwriting team in Europe to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax reporting, and fulfill reporting obligations of our carriers.
Role responsibilities
* Facilitate the production of Written/Premium/Claims bordereaux, ensuring reports are accurate and timely in a multi-currency environment
* Monthly review of portfolio for the Business Unit, highlighting issues and significant changes
* Manage queries proactively with internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain and develop Monthly Management Information for Written/Claims/Premium/Aged Debtor by Business Unit
* Ensure all business written adheres to the Binding Authority Agreement and work with underwriting to rectify breaches
* Ensure process and procedures comply with DUAL and local policies
* Manage payments to carriers and third parties monthly; reconcile claims trust accounts
* Respond promptly to External Audit requests

Knowledge and Experience
* Deep knowledge of Marine Insurance
* Experience in Lloyds reporting standards and bordereaux data
* Familiarity with LMTOM & Market glossary
* Proven experience in producing bordereaux for Written, Premium, and Claims
* Experience with reconciliations
* Understanding of Delegated Authority
Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities
* Maintain compliance at all times
* Obtain necessary approvals to ensure adherence to policies and regulations (data protection, AML, etc.)
* Share best practices and ideas within the team
* Keep HR and T&C records up to date
* Maintain accurate records and handle correspondence appropriately
