We're on the hunt for 5 Stress Engineers with a passion for pushing the boundaries of automotive engineering. As a Stress Engineer, you'll be responsible for analyzing and designing nacelle systems, non-turbo-machinery components, and other critical parts to ensure they can withstand the rigors of high-performance driving. With a strong understanding of fatigue life prediction, material behavior, and finite element analysis, you'll be the driving force behind our innovative designs. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in stress analysis within automotive, motorsport (F1), or aerospace sectors Strong understanding of fatigue life prediction and material behavior under cyclic loading Familiarity with nacelle systems and non-turbo-machinery components Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) Ability to perform hand calculations and validate FEA results Experience with critical part lifting methodologies Strong technical documentation and communication skills Nice to Have Skills Experience working with PW (Pratt & Whitney) and GE (General Electric) components or standards Knowledge of material science and new material development processes Familiarity with aerospace certification standards and stress reporting Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role Willingness to travel occasionally between sites if needed Applicants can be based in Debry, Inchinnan or Bristol.
