Job Description Receptionist | Maternity Cover | Wakefield Receptionist (Maternity Cover) I am working with a client based in Horbury, who are looking for a professional, approachable, and highly organised front-of-house receptionist to join their team on a 1-year maternity cover. This role will mean you are the first point of contact for clients, you will play a key role in delivering a welcoming and efficient front‑of‑house experience. This role is part-time and requires someone to be in the office 3 full days a week. Key Responsibilities Answering incoming calls in a warm, professional telephone manner Greeting clients and visitors on arrival Managing appointments and directing enquiries to the appropriate departments Handling incoming and outgoing posts Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area General administrative support to the wider team We are looking for someone who is: Confident and articulate with excellent telephone etiquette. Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a busy reception environment.
