You will be responsible for overseeing a caseload of children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), managing the process from initial assessment to securing appropriate educational placements. You will ensure all statutory duties are met and that EHCPs are clear, person-centred, and of a high standard. Strong partnership working is key. You will collaborate with families, education settings, and professionals across health and social care to deliver coordinated support that meets each young person's individual needs and promotes positive outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating the statutory assessment process within required timescales Drafting and reviewing EHCPs in line with legal requirements and best practice Liaising with schools, parents, and external agencies to gather and share information Ensuring timely and suitable placements are identified and agreed Participating in annual reviews and monitoring progress against outcomes Maintaining accurate case records and contributing to service improvements.
