What this role actually is
This isn’t admin, and it’s not about sending emails and waiting.
You’ll sit at the centre of our commercial and supply function, directly influencing:
* Pricing turnaround times
* Supplier performance
* Margin
* Client service delivery
You’ll be expected to take ownership, push suppliers, and make things happen.
What you’ll be doing
* Securing fast, accurate pricing across haulage, disposal, and recycling
* Managing and strengthening supplier relationships, holding them accountable
* Supporting the commercial team with competitive, winnable pricing
* Coordinating waste movements and service delivery
* Identifying alternative routes and outlets quickly
* Driving cost, efficiency, and margin improvements
Who this suits
* Currently working within waste services/resource management/supply chain roles
* Experienced in subcontractor pricing, collections, and coordination
* Frustrated with slow systems and lack of control
* Commercially aware, understands margin, not just process
* Proactive, organised, and comfortable working at pace
