We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant team within our under 2's room. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and developing the early learning experiences of children within a nursery setting. Your skills and ability to communicate effectively will play a crucial role in fostering a positive environment where children can thrive. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a genuine drive to support children's growth and development.
Duties
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
* Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Manage daily routines, ensuring that the needs of each child are met.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop best practices in early years education.
* Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress.
* Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and care.
Requirements
* Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
* Knowledge of nursery practices and early years frameworks is desirable.
* Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent/guardians and visitors.
* You will need to have a Level 3 / SCQF 7 Early Years Qualification.
