Job Description

As part of the Asset Risk Team you will have the opportunity to support and maintain accurate and residual values pricing models. If you agree, then it is within reach with this full-time job as Residual Values Analyst in Milton Keynes. We are Operations within Athlon.

Your road to success

Left or right, you will be involved in delivering technical solutions and providing guidance which supports the wider team in line with agreed Asset Management Policies, to maximise opportunities. In your support of the predictions, you will ensure that cost pricing models remain accurate and identify ways to improve processes and systems. You will directly oversee the implementation of these and help to continuously drive improvements in performance and efficiency. You can do this as a Residual Values Analyst with full focus on:

· Ensuring the RV & SMR inbox is monitored and up to date and respond to complex queries to ensure that appropriate replies are provided with accurate and timely information

· Keep abreast of all new vehicle and engine technologies and understand how the market will react to future vehicle development that will impact RV setting policies and SMR costs

· Support the preparation of proposals for quarterly Residual Value reviews and be able to tackle some more complex analytical tasks when required

· Provide budgets for a variety of specifications including: extreme contract parameters, high volume requirements, non-standard usage requirements, contract amendments and extensions

· Prepare accurate monthly reports, including, but not limited to Portfolio Performance, Quarterly Residual Value movement check, UK sales data across cars / LCV (taken from SMMT), CAP Insight submission

· Prepare Rate Books each month and manage RV Sector Baskets for analysis.

What do you take with you as a Residual Values Analyst for at least 37.5 hours per week? Above all, you will support the RV/SMR Manager with ad-hoc projects or workstream initiatives, support with the input of discount terms across OEM, Dealer or Customer terms and also develop and maintain monitoring and controlling activities to ensure relevant data is stored and processed accurately and securely. In addition, you will have:

· A passion for our products, whist also demonstrating a highly analytical mind-set, alongside proven experience of data analysis and interpretation

· An ability to work in a fast paced and high energy environment that requires balancing variable demands from multiple sources and sometimes working to tight deadlines

· Proven IT skills particularly Excel, especially with the ability to create and amend spreadsheets, able to handle large data sets

· Commercial bias and show relevant experience in a reporting or an analytical role

· Individual contributor that applies advanced knowledge of this specific topic

· Excellent attention to detail with good communication skills

· A natural team player willing to support other team members in times of high activity.
